Construction has begun! Our campus has a new, one-way traffic pattern during this season of construction: all traffic must enter campus only from Hawthorne and all traffic must exit only onto Prince Crossing.

Wheaton Academy Families

It is with great anticipation that I share some exciting news with you regarding the future of our campus.

Over the past 170 years, Wheaton Academy has established a long-standing legacy of excellence, and as stewards of this rich heritage, we recognize our responsibility to continue this legacy of excellence in all we do. That is why, in the fall of 2019, our leadership began crafting a bold vision focused on the future growth and vitality of the Academy by developing a campus master plan to address our current needs and present limitations. Highlights of this plan include an expansion of the main academic building, uniformity of classrooms, innovative and collaborative learning spaces, and vast campus-wide facility enhancements. This vision will reshape our campus’s physical environment and preserve the standard of excellence for which Wheaton Academy has come to be known.

As we have prayerfully planned and prepared over the last 3 ½ years, we now feel the Lord calling us to move forward. This spring, we step out in faith in pursuit of our effort to carry Wheaton Academy’s legacy of excellence into the future.

Beginning the first week of April, all classes held in Academy Hall will shift to alternate locations on campus, and traffic patterns will change in preparation for the planned razing of Academy Hall in early June. For those interested in visiting campus prior to the commencement of these changes, you are invited to do so prior to May 15. Additionally, this fall we look forward to sharing the exciting details of our bold vision with the entire Wheaton Academy community.

Change is a constant within educational organizations, and Wheaton Academy is no exception. Yet, while our physical environment will transform, the foundational beliefs of the Academy established in 1853 remain unchanged. Our commitment to disciple the next generation of Christian young people and to equip them with a distinctly Christian worldview is unwavering.

I am so thankful for how the Lord’s faithfulness has been woven into the fabric of Wheaton Academy. This foundational truth allows us to confidently enter this exciting new chapter of Academy history. Please join me in praying that His hand will continue to lead and guide us in the days ahead.

Soli Deo Gloria,

Steve Bult
